1. Upcoming Flu Clinic:
Due to demand, we continue to offer flu clinics, especially for families with children, as many pharmacies will not administer flu vaccines to young children and babies. We still have FLUMIST (nasal spray) available for children ages 2-17. We cannot guarantee its availability but please indicate if this is your preference. We recommend the flu vaccine to everyone ages 6 months and older.

2. Staff update:
- Please welcome our new MOA – Renee Firth! She is joining us full-time. As an experienced Medical Office Assistant., she is eager to meet you and to assist you with your health needs!
- Sandy and Renee are our full-time MOAs, and Leigha will continue part-time.
- We are sad to say farewell to Phoebe and Lucy. We wish them all the very best!
3. Teaching update:
As you know, we have been a UBC teaching clinic for medical students and residents for over 20 years. Thank you for helping us educate the next generation of doctors and family physicians!
- Please welcome our second year Family Practice resident, Dr. Bessie He, who is joining us until the end of June, 2025, when she completes her Family Practice residency.
4. Physician schedule changes:
- As of September, 2024, Dr. Jeraldine Chan will only be working on Mondays and Wednesdays (no longer Fridays)
- Dr. Jeraldine Chan will be away November 4 to 25, 2024.
- Dr. Simon Liang will be seeing patients on November 12, 13 and 14. He can speak Mandarin.
